This year, in addition to your traditional Lenten Sacrificial Offering, St. Richard is inviting you to participate in our “Lenten Acts of Kindness.”
Each week, we ask you to consider doing a random act of kindness as a Lenten offering. At the back of the church, we will have white doves, please write the act of kindness performed and place the dove in the basket provided. Each week during lent, the doves will be displayed throughout the church. During the 9:00a.m. Mass children will be encouraged to bring their doves forward during the offertory, and Father will randomly read some of the “acts of kindness” performed. We encourage all parishioners and their families to use this opportunity to share their kindness and compassion with others as we journey with Jesus to the cross.

THE THOMAS LEONARD MEMORAL GOLF TOURNAMENT, MONDAY, JUNE 4TH 8:00
Far Corners Golf Course in Boxford. Our 33nd Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament - dedicated to youth education. 18 holes of golf with cart, Cookout immediately following golf at the course, Great prizes, raffles, awards Best Ball, with shotgun start.
Publicity Committee - this committee would publicize not just social activities, but all the good works done through the Parish. Great things are done throughout our community, but unless they are publicized through all different media (cable, newspapers, Facebook, website, bulletin inserts and weekly alter announcements, email, Twitter) not everyone knows what is taking place. 4 volunteers for this work out well.
Welcoming Committee -these volunteers would assist with coffee and donuts after mass, reach out to new families and parishioners joining the parish, and welcome people as they come into Mass each week. The more volunteers on this committee the better!
Hospitality Committee – This group would help cook, and set up for various get-togethers / meetings both in the rectory meeting room and in the hall. If you love to cook, bake and set a beautiful table, this could be your ministry!
